Your information
Adult enquiries and email requests
D. C. R. James uses the email and details you provide to respond to your request. Optional book updates are recorded separately from an enquiry. We do not ask for children’s personal information.
Enquiries are stored privately. Your preference link removes your request; Daniel can also remove it when you reply to him. Requests remain until withdrawn or removed by Daniel. No email is currently sent automatically.
Play and measurements
Game progress and sound preferences are saved on your device. The shop counts page visits, Amazon clicks, video starts and saved enquiries by day and broad traffic source. These counts do not record names, email addresses, visitor identifiers or browsing histories. Ordinary hosting access logs may also exist.
Optional analytics and Facebook ad measurement
With an adult’s permission, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits, page views and selected interactions such as game choices, audio or video starts and Amazon clicks. Analytics cookies can recognise a browser across visits. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents or URL query strings to Analytics. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled.
Google Analytics and the Meta pixel stay off until you choose Allow analytics. You can choose No thanks, or change your choice here at any time. Your consent choice is saved on this device. Declining does not affect games or stories.
Meta (Facebook) advertising cookies and the Meta pixel measure page visits, Amazon link clicks, landing-page views, story plays and game starts to understand Facebook ad performance. After you allow analytics, Meta can receive page URLs (including campaign and Facebook click identifiers), browser and device information and cookie identifiers, and may connect visits with your Facebook account. We disable automatic event collection and do not supply names, email addresses or form contents. Meta’s privacy policy.
